Let me present a perfect chance for you: clothes swap days at university. Curious?
Klimatstudenterna and MINK organize clothes swap days at university, Transform, the 2-3 of March, 12-4 pm. Join us – save the date and save the planet (at least a little), because here you can exchange and repair clothes, or find new ones, that are already produced. Begin your new year’s resolution now and sort your wardrobe and get rid of clothes you got for Christmas, but you don’t like – maybe they will become someone else’s favorite!
How is the clothes swap day working? If you have you can bring old clothes along. Otherwise, you can come and just looking for new ones that are fine as well. We have two simple rules: take only what you need so there is enough left for everyone and don’t bring us any socks or underwear. You can drop in both days, anytime between 12-4 pm to find some Fika and music. If you want to hand in clothes earlier, it is possible to be there before 12 as well. All leftover clothes will be donated.
We have some little extras: There will be a repair- and knitting couch, so there is a place for you to repair clothes that you want to wear a little (or long time) longer. Let’s make old or boring clothes look new and fancy! We plan on making a textile-printing area, where you are free to experiment, print, and upcycle your clothes or even work on your Förenings-Ovve and attach new patches.
